Abstract

Against the serious consequences of climate change, a new
growth model has been established. The green growth or low carbon growth
focuses on the efficient use of natural resources, it also enhances the use of
renewable energy and environmentally-friendly technologies. Therefore, the
green growth is now a trend with new global rules being shaped. This paper
presents the trend of Southeast Asian countries on green growth in mineral
mining, one of the economic growth activities which has a negative impact
on the environment so that draw lessons for Viet Nam.
